The winners of the Benois prize were also creators of the «Nureyev»: Ilya Demutsky as the best composer, Yuri Posokhov as the best choreographer and Kirill Serebrennikov as the best scenographer.
Vladislav Lantratov:
This is a special performance and a special role for me. It is necessary to live the life of a bright personality, an amazing dancer, to convince not only the audience, but also professionals, and himself.
Thanks to my partners in this performance: Anastasia Stashkevich, Denis Savin, Maria Alexandrova, to all the artists who were «sick» with this work; the team of guest artists, Igor Vernik and Vladimir Koshevoy.
Thanks to Kirill Serebrennikov for believing in me. I'm glad that he saw the ballet run last July, and we hope that he will see his performance in the future.
Thanks to Ilya Demutskiy for his amazing work.
And, of course, thanks to Yuri Posokhov, with whom we, dancers, like to work, and we always wait for this moment!
I congratulate all the winners!
I especially want to thank Yuri Grigorovich. Without the path that I took in his ballets, without this school of male dance and psychologically profound images, scenic dramaturgy, it would be incredibly difficult to get down to work on Nureyev.
In the gala concert of the Benois de la Danse prize Vladislav Lantratov and Denis Savin performed the duet of Nureyev and Eric from the ballet «Nureyev».
